AROUND BRAC TOUR
Though Brac is most famous for its Golden Horn Beach, it has so much more to offer! The island is a heavily forested area with amazing beaches all along the coast. And in addition, it has a magnificent history and cultural significance for Croatia. Because of that, we offer you a truly unique tour around Brač, that will take you to the hidden gems that not everyone gets to visit.
This speedboat tour starts from the Split promenade, where our crew will pick you up. After a short stop in Supetar, we will head to Pučišća where a local guide will be waiting for you. Pučišća have the only remaining stone masonry school in Croatia, and one of only three left in Europe. That means you’ll get rare opportunity to find out about the way stone is processed on Brac, and how much it has meant for the people of this island.
Along the way, you’ll stop at the tiny seaside village of Povlja where you will get to experience what traditional island towns/villages look like. Povlja houses the oldest basilica on Brac, which has a great cultural significance for Croatia. From Povlja you’ll head straight to the bay Luka, for a few hours of swimming and relaxing. And if you’d like to eat lunch during the downtime, our crew will make sure to send you to the best restaurant in the bay.
Our next stop is Bobovišća on the Sea, a famous nautical port. There you’ll hear a bit about its history, myths, and see the Gligo ‘castle’. After this short stop, we are heading straight to Split for your drop-off.
