The best of Dalmatian islands in one day

935 hrk per person

When you have more than a thousand islands to choose from, it is not easy to make a decision. So, we’ve made it for you – we have selected the most idyllic parts of the Croatian archipelago whose majestic natural beauty will fill your heart and invigorate your senses. We can try to evoke the magic, but some things cannot be described, only experienced. That is why we will take you to an all-day island hopping with a highly luxurious “king” of Croatian speedboats, custom made for exactly this tour – which sets us apart from all the rest.

Our first stop is the island of Biševo, which may be tiny, but it hides the majestic natural wonder, Blue Cave. When the sunlight meets pure white sand on the seafloor, it creates a pool of iridescent blue light, while everything submerged seems as if it was made of silver. This one-of-a-kind cave may easily be the castle of the sea god or a secret portal to the mermaids’ realm. After that, we will visit the island of Vis. Of all the inhabited Croatian islands, Vis is the furthest from the coast and the most enigmatic. For quite a long time it was kept off limits by the army, but in the recent years, it gained popularity due to the Mamma Mia 2 movie, which was filmed there. We will visit Komiža, a charming fishermen’s village on the west side of the island of Vis, and the spectacular Stiniva Bay surrounded by the steep cliffs, which was named the top European beach in 2016. We will also visit two picturesque islets nearby: Ravnik and Budikovac, where you can enjoy free time for swimming and snorkeling in the gorgeous turquoise Blue Lagoon.

Next, we are taking you to marvel the crystal-clear waters, hidden beaches and deserted lagoons of the Pakleni Islands (Pakleni otoci), a gorgeous chain of wooded isles. The sandy Palmižana Bay on the uninhabited island of St. Clement is where you will have an opportunity to enjoy a short hike and breathe in the scents of its lavish botanical garden.

We will end the tour of Croatian islands on Hvar, the sunniest spot in Croatia. Our guide will take you for a short stroll through the town of Hvar. Its patricians’ palaces, monasteries and churches, renaissance squares, one of the oldest theatres in Europe and much more shape the town’s unique beauty along with its symbol, the delicate lace made by Benedictine nuns. Of course, it is entirely up to you if you prefer a quick dive in the magically blue sea instead, or going on your own adventure around the town.

We did this tour privately with Croatia Dream – my husband, mother, father and I. Sonia who worked in the office took wuite some time with us, gave us all the information we needed, picture of the boat – even a video – madesure we had sorkeling equipment and that the boat picked us up as close as possible to to our apartment. The tour itself was lovely, and the skipper mostly let us decide what we wanted to do. There were some time constrictions which he warned us about, but other than that he et us get away with anything! He was also incredibly knowledgable about the islands, and took us to some amazing hidden places where it wasn’t as crowded.

Everything on this tour was as advertised, and all the people involved made us feel welcomed. Ante the skipper ant Tanja the guide made sure the trip was enjoyable and well thought out. The Hvar stop was particularly informative and fun. The Blue Cave is bautiful but you don’t actually get to spend too much time there.

We took 3 trips with croatia dream. The waterfalls, the kayak and the Blue Cave. All were excellent but the blue cave stood out just because we had so much fun! The boat captain and the guide were animated, made us laugh and learn, but best of all our group was amazing! The maximum number of people on boat was 12 and all were our age. We got on like a house on fire! It made the experience that much more enjoyable.

This trip is worth it just for the island hopping itself. The cave is crowded and we didn’t spend more than 10 minutes inside which was actually ok with us. Because the stops at the Blue Lagoon and Pakleni islands were more than worth it – nice surprises actually.

This was a very organized tour. We took islands tour from Split. It is about 10 hours. Nice and fast boats. Small groups and friendly crew.

We came to the cave after seeing so many good reviews: despite the whole process of getting into the cave, it is really beautiful. We had the chance of being only boat in the cave so it was very peaceful and we had plenty of time to admire the blue color.

It is must do tour because of the blue cave, that is wonderful, and Hvar, one of the islands, that is beautiful.
If you decide to book this tour, try to take your own food and do a picnic in the island.

It is worth seeing as it is a magical trick of nature that you will never see or experience again unless you live in Croatia. Thank you for such a beautiful day!
